US Meteorologists are keeping a watchful eye on Danielle, a very large tropical storm that may form into a Hurricane this evening. This is the fourth tropical storm this year.

Currently Danielle’s wind speed is about 65 miles per hour, located about 1.025 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands.

It will be a hurricane when the cyclones with wind speeds between 75 and 156 miles per hour.

It is forecasted to reach Hurricane strength in the next few hours. Danielle is currently moving about 16 miles per hour. Once classified as a hurricane, it typically moves faster and could hit shore.

The Atlantic hurricane season is expected to be especially active. Wind disturbances in Africa, which produced Danielle, will move into an environment
that is conducive for producing more tropical storms in the next few weeks. Hurricane season is most active in the month of September.
